Very rare, beautiful violin by Johann Gottfried Hamm, 1806 in Germany Lehi , UT | 14 Days 603 27 $5,500.00 Description Made in 1806 in Germany. Retail $24,000. Absolutely fantastically wonderful sound. Plays like a nice Amati violin. I almost really don't want to even sell this one because it's just such an exceptionally well made violin. Has many old, well-done repairs as it is 160 years old. None of the repairs are structurally compromising in anyway, just asthetic. Violin is structurally completely solid with no issues. Still worth much more than what I am asking for it. Just a really beautiful looking beautiful playing wonderful violin that you'll never find available at a price like this again.
